Good Friday In Ullenhall 

The 25th March is Good Friday - one of the most important days in the Church's calendar. You are invited to mark this occasion by joining  us at the 7pm service in St.Mary's, when we will acknowledge the theme of the day and prepare for Easter Sunday.

 6th March    6pm    St.Mary's      Mothering Sunday Communion

13th March    6pm    St.Mary's      Lent Evening Service

20th March    6pm    St.Mary's      Lent Evening Service

25th March    GOOD FRIDAY,  7pm   St.Mary's

27th March    Easter Day Communion,  9am  St.Mary's

Above is a picture of St.Mary's with the new floodlights fitted by local firm Harding's Electrical. Though they will only to be used during certain seasonal celebrations, when they are switched on they bring out the true beauty of our newly renovated (with significant help from the Heritage Lottery Fund) church

St Mary the Virgin

Completed in 1875, this beautiful church was designed by the renowned Victorian architect J.P.Seddon and is located in the heart of this christian community.

If you would like to have a look round St Mary's church at any time outside published church service times, please contact the church wardens who will be happy to open the church up for you.  More...

During most of the year church services are held at St Mary's Church in the village, however during the summer months these our services are held in the Old Chapel. For service details please click here.

Church Services

The Old Chapel is a late 13th Century chapel that is still in use to this day by the parishioners throughout the summer months and on special occasions. It is full of atmosphere  and history and is lit solely by candle-light during evening services.
